Terms of Service

Welcome to FinMastery. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FinMastery marketing site (finmastery.app) and learning app (dash.finmastery.app), together the "Service". By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service Is Free

FinMastery's core learning platform is provided free of charge. There are no paywalls, subscriptions, or required payments to access lessons, quizzes, or the gamified features. We may introduce optional features in the future, but the core financial literacy content described in our marketing will remain free.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure.
• One account is intended per person. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Abuse, manipulate, or exploit the XP, Gold, item, streak, leaderboard, or quest systems, including through automated means or bots.
• Scrape, copy, or harvest content or data from the Service except as expressly permitted.
• Attempt to disrupt, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Educational Content, Not Professional Advice

FinMastery provides educational content about personal finance. All lessons, quizzes, and tools, including the Expense and Income Tracker, the Financial Goals Notebook, the Portfolio Tracker, and any net worth projections, are for general learning and informational purposes only. They are not professional financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice, and should not be relied upon as such.

FinMastery is an independent platform. It is not regulated, supervised, or endorsed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) or any other regulator, and does not provide regulated financial services. Any figures, estimates, or projections shown are illustrative and not guarantees of any outcome. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the information you enter into the Service, such as your tracked transactions, goals, and portfolio entries. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and display that information back to you as part of operating the Service. We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its lessons, design, graphics, characters, and software, is owned by FinMastery and protected by applicable laws. You may use the Service for your own personal learning, but you may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.

7. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FinMastery and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from your reliance on the educational content or tools provided. The Service is a learning aid; decisions you make based on it are your own responsibility.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
